Fabricio “Hokage” Andrey will face British debutant Owen Jones in featherweight submission grappling at ONE Fight Night 44: Jarvis vs. Rungrawee II on Prime Video on Friday, June 26, live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ruotolo picked up an injury following his lightweight MMA victory over Hiroyuki Tetsuka at The Inner Circle on May 15, forcing the postponement of his scheduled title defence against Andrey.

The Manaus native has gone 3-0 since arriving in ONE Championship, collecting unanimous decision wins over Ashley Williams, Eduardo Granzotto, and Joao “Bisnaga” Mendes through a combination of explosive takedowns, dynamic attacks, and the kind of relentless forward pressure that has made him one of the most compelling grapplers in the promotion.

All three victories have been decisive. None have ended by submission, and it’s a detail Andrey will be looking to address against Jones as he continues building his case for a world title shot.

Jones, 21, is a product of Apex Jiu-Jitsu Academy who cross-trains at B-Team in Austin, Texas, and announced himself to the wider grappling world by winning the 2023 ADCC European Trials at 66 kilograms as a relative unknown.

He defeated Robert Degle and Ashley Williams, the same Williams that Andrey beat on his ONE debut, en route to the title. The second addition brings former ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion Petchtanong Petchfergus back to the card against Ben “The Problem” Woolliss in bantamweight kickboxing action.

Petchtanong, 40, represents Superbon Training Camp and carries a 359-57 professional record and three ONE victories into this bout. His promotional wins include defeats of two former divisional kings in Hiroki Akimoto and Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov, giving him a well-earned reputation as a championship-level threat at 135 pounds.

Woolliss announced himself emphatically at ONE Fight Night 41 in March, stopping former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John “Hands of Stone” Lineker via calf kick TKO in his debut.

The 31-year-old moves down a division with a 30-6 career record for this assignment, and a win over a former world champion would immediately establish him as a genuine force in the bantamweight kickboxing landscape.
