Dubois retained his WBO heavyweight title with a devastating display of power and aggression, leaving Wardley unable to continue as his trainer Ben Davison threw in the towel at 2:21 of the second round.

The victory was a remarkable contrast to their first encounter in May, when Dubois had to overcome serious adversity before stopping Wardley in the 11th round. This time, the champion wasted little time establishing his dominance, knocking his opponent down within the opening 17 seconds.

Dubois entered the rematch determined to prove a point after questions had been raised about his mentality and ability to overcome adversity. Having previously lost to Oleksandr Usyk in their 2025 rematch, he had faced scrutiny over his place among the heavyweight division’s elite.

However, the London-born boxer responded in emphatic fashion, showing that he remains a major force in the division. Rather than allowing Wardley to settle into another gruelling battle, Dubois took control from the opening bell and never allowed his rival to recover.

Daniel Dubois Turns the Tables After First Fight War Against Fabio Wardley

Their first meeting in May 2026 was one of the most dramatic heavyweight contests of the year. Wardley initially appeared to have the upper hand, dropping Dubois twice, including a knockdown just 10 seconds into the opening round.

The champion’s resilience was tested as Wardley continued to land powerful shots, but Dubois gradually turned the contest around with relentless pressure and heavy combinations. Wardley absorbed considerable punishment, suffering damage to his nose and swelling around his eye, yet continued fighting back.

Dubois eventually secured an 11th-round stoppage to dethrone Wardley and claim the WBO heavyweight championship. The performance earned him praise for his determination, although questions about his defensive vulnerabilities remained after the early knockdowns.

Wardley immediately exercised his rematch clause, hoping to reclaim the title and avenge the first defeat of his professional career. Their second encounter, however, unfolded very differently.

Dubois dropped Wardley early with a powerful right hand and maintained the pressure throughout the opening round. Wardley survived until the bell but was unable to withstand the champion’s continued assault in the second.

With Wardley trapped against the ropes and taking unanswered punches, Davison threw in the towel to bring the contest to an end.

Dubois subsequently declared that it was his time and his era, underlining the confidence behind his performance.

The win improved Dubois’ professional record to 24 victories and three defeats, further strengthening his position among the heavyweight division’s leading contenders. With the Wardley rivalry seemingly settled, attention can now turn to potential unification fights and other major challenges.

For Dubois, the rematch was about more than retaining his title. After being questioned and written off by some following previous setbacks, he answered his critics with a dominant performance that left little doubt about his punching power and determination.

The post Daniel Dubois Silences His Doubters With Brutal Fabio Wardley Rematch Win After Being Written Off first appeared on Sidekick Boxing.

The post, published on October 18, 2026, included footage of the boxer wearing a white hoodie at what appeared to be a Halloween gathering. The accompanying caption claimed Fury was removed from the event over his alleged behaviour.

However, the claims have not been independently verified, and the footage alone does not establish what happened before or during the reported incident. Fury’s response to the allegations was not included in the post.

The incident has attracted attention because of Fury’s high-profile relationship history, particularly his split from former partner Molly-Mae Hague and the allegations of infidelity that emerged around their relationship.

Tommy Fury’s Past Cheating Allegations Explained

Fury and Hague, who met on Love Island in 2019, announced their separation in August 2024 after five years together. The couple share a daughter, Bambi, and had become one of Britain’s most recognisable celebrity couples.

Following their split, allegations surfaced that Fury had been unfaithful during their relationship. Hague addressed the breakdown publicly, while Fury subsequently denied cheating on her.

In January 2025, Fury spoke about the separation and explained that alcohol had played a role in his struggles during that period. He acknowledged that his drinking had affected his life and relationship, while continuing to reject claims that he had cheated on Hague.

The couple later reconciled, announcing in 2025 that they were back together after spending time apart. Their relationship has remained a subject of public interest because of the circumstances surrounding their initial separation.

The latest Halloween event allegations are separate from the earlier relationship controversy. At present, the social media post does not provide enough independently verified information to establish whether Fury was removed from the venue or whether the alleged conduct occurred as described.

Further details, including any response from Fury or the event organisers, would be needed to establish what happened.

The pair meet in a three-round women’s atomweight Muay Thai bout at The Inner Circle 35 on Friday, October 16, live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium. The event streams exclusively for subscribers at live.onefc.com.

Bahsous does not see their exchanges as harmless fun. The Canadian won three consecutive IFMA Junior World Championships before arriving in ONE, and she believes Weaver’s call-out suggests a newcomer can skip the work it took to get there.

“Beef? What beef? That’s just me. She called me out, and I take that very personally because she thinks that she could skip steps to be where I am,” Bahsous said.

“And because of that, she’s letting other people know that you can just call me out and be able to get onto this stage, ONE Championship, when they haven’t put the same hours in that I have.”

Weaver sees it differently, explaining that the “Olivia Slayer” nickname came from a fan and that she simply reposted it.

“We have been making videos back and forth, but at the end of the day, I don’t know how she feels on her part,” Weaver said.

“None of the videos I make are to put her down. If you look at my videos, none of them are rude or disrespectful toward her. They’re more just funny.”

Bahsous has backed up her words so far. She stopped Phontip Khlongtoeiyouthcenter in 89 seconds at The Inner Circle 19 in June, then finished Nonglek Krudamgym 48 seconds into the second round at ONE Friday Fights 164 in July.

Weaver, a 2024 TBA Classic World Championships titleholder with an unbeaten professional record, makes her promotional debut after sharpening her game at Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya. Despite it being her first fight in 4-ounce gloves, she has no intention of taking a backward step.

“Obviously, I’m going for the knockout, like everyone would. I just know that I’m not going to back away. It’s going to be pressure, pressure, pressure the entire fight,” Weaver said.

“That’s my plan. It’s just going to be pressure. There’s no going back.”

The post Olivia Bahsous And Malia Weaver Take Their Online Rivalry Into The Ring At The Inner Circle 35 first appeared on Sidekick Boxing.

“The Handsome White Dragon” meets the three-time Glory Kickboxing World Champion in a semifinal of the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament at ONE SAMURAI 4 on Saturday, October 17, live from Tokyo’s Ariake Arena. The tournament winner earns a guaranteed shot at reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon.

The 25-year-old Nanchang native rides a six-fight winning streak that began with four wins on the ONE Hero Series in China. He edged Denis Souza Jr. by split decision at ONE Fight Night 43 in May, then outpointed Kosuke “Unstoppable Phoenix” Takagi at ONE SAMURAI 2.

Grigorian, 35, has challenged twice for ONE gold and owns a four-fight winning streak of his own, most recently a unanimous decision over Mamuka Usubyan at The Inner Circle 25 in August. For Luo, simply sharing a ring with him carries enormous weight.

“It means so much. I basically watched him fighting [while growing] up. He’s one of the biggest names in the Chinese kickboxing community as well. Fighting against someone like him will be one of the biggest milestones of my career,” Luo said.

“He doesn’t really have any weaknesses. The only one thing is that he might be a little slow compared to me. But his boxing, his combos, his cardio, his experience – everything is just perfectly executed.”

Raised on sanda, Luo fights with angles and rhythm that rarely look the same twice, and he brings a 44-11 record and a two-inch height advantage into the ring. Victory would move him one step closer to following Tang Kai as the next Chinese athlete to wear ONE gold.

Back home, a fan base that once marveled at Grigorian will now be firmly behind Luo. Even so, he made sure to pay his respects before the opening bell.

“I just want to put on a great performance for the fans from around the globe. I hope you can all enjoy the event, and let’s bring this victory back home,” he said.

“Marat, you are a legend. I’m a big fan, and it’s an honor sharing the ring with you. [I’ve got] nothing but respect.”

The ONE Lightweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion will be watching closely when Rukiya “Demolition Man” Anpo and Bogdan Shumarov meet in lightweight kickboxing at ONE SAMURAI 4 on Saturday, October 17, live from Tokyo’s Ariake Arena. Eersel is ready to defend his kickboxing crown against whoever emerges from the bout.

The 33-year-old comes into that conversation in fine form. Earlier this month at The Inner Circle 33, he survived a first-round knockdown against George “G-Unit” Jarvis before rallying for a fourth-round stoppage that secured a record 12th World Title victory.

One of his potential challengers has already come close to sharing the ring with him. Shumarov, a Bulgarian with a 19-3 record whose three ONE wins have all ended by stoppage, was once booked for a title shot.

“[Shumarov] was supposed to fight me. I even signed the contract with his name on it. But then he got injured,” Eersel said.

That cancelled booking left unfinished business between the pair. The SB Gym product still brings the heavy hooks and overhands that earned him the opportunity in the first place.

Anpo, a Himeji native and former K-1 Super Lightweight Champion, moves up a weight class after a unanimous decision loss to Marat Grigorian at ONE 173 last November. Eersel would happily face either man, but he concedes one result would suit him slightly better.

“I slightly hope Anpo’s gonna win so I can finally fight in Japan. But we will see. We will see,” he said.

“I’ve never been to Japan, so it sounds pretty cool to me to fight over there.”

Whoever gets the nod, the Surinamese-Dutch superstar is excited by the prospect of a fresh challenger. He wishes both men well, with one ominous caveat attached.

“To both boys – I got my eyes on you,” Eersel said.

The 24-year-old faces former ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Masaaki Noiri in a semifinal of the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament at ONE SAMURAI 4 on Saturday, October 17, live from Tokyo’s Ariake Arena. Siasarani rarely makes predictions, but Noiri’s has drawn a pointed response.

“Noiri said he’s going to knock me out in the second round. I’m not the kind of person who likes to talk about what I’m going to do. I’m going to show him first, the same as Kaito. Then we’re going to sit down and talk about it,” Siasarani said.

“I want to say: If you are a man, just do what you said. And if you cannot do what you said, you are not a man.”

The Venum Training Camp standout earned a US$50,000 performance bonus for the Kaito knockout, which extended his winning streak to six across Muay Thai and kickboxing. A win over Noiri would move him one step closer to a shot at reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon.

For all his confidence, Siasarani rates Noiri as the toughest opponent in the eight-man bracket, ahead even of three-time Glory Kickboxing World Champion Marat Grigorian. It comes down to speed.

“Marat, of course, is very strong. He puts on so much pressure, but I feel he is a little bit slow,” he said.

“For Noiri, I think he is strong and also fast. For my fighting style, I think he’s harder than Marat.”

Noiri’s forward march behind low kicks and punching combinations has made him one of the division’s most dangerous finishers. The Iranian southpaw believes that same aggression creates openings, and he has prepared for every scenario.

“As you see, all of his fights are similar. He likes going forward, throwing low kicks and punches. But he doesn’t like when somebody stays with him, switches guard, and follows him a lot,” Siasarani said.

“I have many plans to fight him. I don’t fight only one way. As you see in my previous fights, every fight is different. Sometimes I fight technically. Sometimes I fight crazy. Sometimes I take my time. I’m going to be ready for every kind of situation.”

The 31-year-old faces reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai Pongsuphan PK in a strawweight kickboxing main event at The Inner Circle 35 on Friday, October 16, at Bangkok’s historic Lumpinee Stadium. Less than 24 hours later, Takeru “Natural Born Krusher” Segawa will be inducted into the ONE Championship Hall of Fame at ONE SAMURAI 4 in Tokyo.

The two men share genuine ring history. In 2017, Wang traveled to the K-1 WORLD GP in Japan to challenge Takeru for the K-1 Featherweight Championship on hostile home turf, losing a grueling three-round unanimous decision.

The comparison followed him into ONE, where his 2019 TKO of Federico Roma earned him a five-round battle with Sam-A Gaiyanghadao for the inaugural ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title. For a while, Wang welcomed it as a sign of respect.

“Being compared to Takeru certainly brought some pressure, but it also kept motivating me to push past him. I thought it was pretty good at the time; it was recognition of my skill. But I’ve matured now. I want to be myself — I want to be Wang Junguang,” Wang said.

Now he returns to the global stage after nearly six years away from ONE, against an opponent with nearly 400 professional bouts on his resume. The Yao Fight Team standout wants to write this next chapter under his own name.

He has even chosen a new nickname to mark the moment. Unlike the old one, this label did not come from anybody else.

“Having fought Takeru, when people call me ‘China’s Takeru,’ it shows they respect me. But I don’t want that nickname anymore. I just want people to remember my name: Wang Junguang. I’ve got a new nickname now — ‘The Warrior’. My old nickname was given to me by others, but this new one I chose for myself,” he said.

The former ONE World Title challenger faces decorated Japanese kickboxer Shintaro Matsukura, who makes his promotional debut, in a lightweight kickboxing showdown at ONE SAMURAI 4 on Saturday, October 17, live from Tokyo’s Ariake Arena.

Competing in Japan has long sat at the top of the 30-year-old Pattaya native’s bucket list. He has felt the country’s electric martial arts culture while cornering teammates, and he refuses to let a partisan Tokyo crowd unsettle him.

“Whenever I fight abroad, I don’t feel any pressure at all. My trainer always tells me that the ring is our home. It doesn’t matter where it’s located,” Sinsamut said.

“Whatever happens in the crowd doesn’t matter. It’s just the three of us in there — me, him, and the referee. Home-court advantage means nothing once the bell rings.”

Matsukura, 34, is a former K-1 Champion from Team Vasileus who spent time guiding stablemates such as Takeru Segawa and Masaaki Noiri before returning to competition himself. Sinsamut, meanwhile, has won just one of his last five outings.

His only previous kickboxing appearance ended in a first-round knockout loss to Nieky “The Natural” Holzken at ONE Friday Fights 100 in March 2025, three years after he had stopped the Dutch icon. He most recently dropped a unanimous decision to George “G-Unit” Jarvis in March.

Strength in numbers is helping him through. Crewmates Nabil Anane and Mohammad Siasarani compete on the same card, and Sinsamut has grown his beard as a promise to ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Asadula Imangazaliev and #4-ranked contender Abdulla Dayakaev, jokingly dubbing himself “Sinsamut-daev.”

The Venum Training Camp and Team Mehdi Zatout athlete has big plans for the night if everyone delivers.

“Going to fight alongside the whole ‘sukiyaki’ [hot pot] gang feels awesome! Being there together as a crew means that if we all win our fights, man, we’re having a massive celebration,” he said.

“I’m going to go out there and get this win, and then we’re gonna blow up the sukiyaki pot in Japan. Let’s make it explode!”

Fans are eagerly anticipating Pimblett’s potential title shot, with a possible showdown against former champion Ilia Topuria attracting significant attention. Topuria previously established himself as one of the UFC’s most dangerous fighters, dominating opponents before suffering a devastating defeat against Justin Gaethje.

Following Topuria’s loss at the Freedom 250 event, questions have emerged about whether he can regain his previous dominance. During a recent interview, Pimblett shared his thoughts on Topuria’s future, suggesting the brutal defeat could significantly change the Georgian-Spaniard.

“I don’t think Ilia ever gonna be the same. I lost my first fight when I was 18 and I had to build myself back up. He’s never lost before, and he’s about 27 or something. His whole aura was about being unbeatable and all that. Now he’s been beaten, and that’s in his head. I will prove it if I’ll end up fighting him next,” said Paddy Pimblett via All Out Fighting.

Ilia Topuria built his brand around remaining undefeated and establishing himself as one of the UFC’s best boxers. However, his defeat has raised questions, despite recently released training clips attempting to reassure fans about his fighting abilities.

Pimblett and Topuria share a longstanding rivalry, frequently exchanging insults and mocking each other online. The British lightweight contender remains eager to settle their differences inside the Octagon, while also offering fans a timeline for his potential return.

“I don’t know what’s happening at the minute. We’ll have to wait and see. Everyone in my division could be booked up. I’m never fighting in January again. If we don’t fight before the end of the year, it’ll be March or April,” continued Paddy Pimblett.

Paddy Pimblett talks about his loss against Justin Gaethje

Paddy Pimblett started 2026 undefeated in the UFC but then lost his streak to Justin Gaethje. Following that loss, fans started questioning the fighter’s credentials to be one of the best in the current roster.

While Gaethje became the new lightweight champion, Pimblett also bounced back and beat Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 329. In a recent interview, the fighter talked about how his loss against Gaethje impacted him and how it was different.

“It affected me less than the other fights I’ve lost in the past. When I lost at 18, 22, and 23, those losses affected me mentally in a terrible way. When I lost this one, I didn’t even cry. Every other fight I’ve lost has made me cry for days. This one, I knew it was just growth,” said Paddy Pimblett.

Pimblett is a huge draw, and UFC understands that very well, and according to many, he vs. Topuria is a massive fight. It would be interesting to see whether the fighter can get his hands on the title shot next year.

The three-time Glory Kickboxing World Champion faces “The Handsome White Dragon” in a semifinal of the ONE SAMURAI Featherweight Kickboxing Tournament at ONE SAMURAI 4 on Saturday, October 17, from Tokyo’s Ariake Arena. The winner moves one step closer to the silver tournament belt and a shot at reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon.

The 35-year-old Armenian has seen almost everything the sport can offer. He famously knocked out Superbon in the final of the Kunlun Fight World MAX Tournament, and a fourth meeting with the Thai star now sits at the end of this bracket.

Luo, 25, booked his semifinal spot with a sharp unanimous decision over Kosuke “Unstoppable Phoenix” Takagi at ONE SAMURAI 2. Grigorian respects the Chinese star’s speed, but his attention is firmly on himself.

“I never watched his fights or studied his style. Why do I need to bother? I have experience. I didn’t even fully watch his fight [in the quarterfinal]. But from the little bit I watched, he’s fast and throws a lot of combinations. So, I’m not underestimating him,” Grigorian said.

“My focus is on what I bring to the table – sharpening my style, knockout power, volume, and aggression. I just need to [study him] a little bit, and I will know what I’m gonna do to him.”

Grigorian rides a four-fight winning streak that includes two statement performances in this very arena: a first-round finish of Kaito at ONE SAMURAI 1 and a three-round win over Rukiya “Demolition Man” Anpo at ONE 173. Victory over Luo would bring his 72nd professional win.

The pressure fighter has never been shy about his plan. He intends to march forward and reward the Japanese fans who have embraced him.

“I will stick to violence. But it also depends on his game plan. If he runs away, then maybe [this fight] will take longer. But I promise to give fans a really good fight. I will try to knock him out, and we’ll see how it goes,” he said.

“The Japanese fans love me, and I want to reward them by giving everything that I have. I will take risks. I will bring trouble for him.”
