Colby Covington and Joaquin Buckley will headline the UFC’s final card of the year this weekend. UFC Tampa will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
The prelims for the event are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. ET, with the main card following at 10 p.m. ET, airing live on ESPN2, and ESPN+. As mentioned earlier, the card will be headlined by Colby Covington and Joaquin Buckley.
Covington, who holds a professional record of 17-4 was last seen in action back in December 2023, losing a unanimous decision to Leon Edwards at UFC 296, marking his third failed attempt at winning the undisputed UFC title.

This fight against Buckley allows Covington to snap his run and score a much-needed win over an active contender. On the other side, Buckley, who holds a record of 21-6 MMA comes in hot, riding a 4-0 winning streak ever since moving to welterweight.
It is worth noting that the card was initially supposed to be headlined by Joaquin Buckley and Ian Garry. However, Garry had to step in to replace Belal Muhammad at UFC 310. As a result, Colby Covington stepped in to fight Buckley.
