Tommy Fury Reveals Drinking 20 Shots Before Split With Molly Mae

Tommy Fury New Love Island All Stars

Tommy Fury has opened up about the real reason behind his brief split with Molly‑Mae Hague. In his new BBC Three documentary Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, the 25-year-old boxer admitted that his drinking habits had gotten out of control, leading to serious problems in their relationship.

After suffering a hand injury that left him unable to train or fight, Tommy said he began feeling lost and without purpose. This led him to start drinking heavily—up to 20 shots a night. He revealed that he would often black out and not remember anything, including the night Molly‑Mae left with their daughter, Bambi. He described waking up alone and realizing just how far he had fallen.

Tommy’s father, John Fury, was also featured in the documentary and said he warned Molly‑Mae to walk away if Tommy didn’t get himself together. Having watched another son, Tyson Fury, battle similar issues, he didn’t want history to repeat itself. This emotional low point made Tommy realise the damage he was causing.

Although Molly‑Mae did not attend the premiere of the documentary, fans were quick to notice that the couple had quietly reunited. Tommy later confirmed that they were back together and in a stronger place. He said they’ve chosen to keep things private and protect their relationship from the public eye.

Molly‑Mae, in her own series Behind It All, spoke honestly about the struggles. She said she still loves Tommy and wants to build a happy family with him, but admitted they’ve been through a lot behind the scenes.

Their story is a reminder that mental health challenges can affect anyone, and that even the most glamorous relationships have difficult moments. Tommy’s honesty shows that change is possible when you’re willing to face your problems.
