UFC CEO Dana White officially confirmed that UFC 323 will be the last major event of the year, creating huge excitement worldwide. Scheduled for December 6 at Las Vegas’ iconic T-Mobile Arena, the event promises electrifying matchups and unforgettable championship moments.

UFC 323: Main Event – Merab Dvalishvili vs. Petr Yan

The much-anticipated main event of UFC 323 will feature reigning bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili defending his title against Petr Yan. This marks Dvalishvili’s fourth appearance in 2025, following impressive victories over Umar Nurmagomedov, Sean O’Malley, and top contender Cory Sandhagen. Known as “The Machine,” Dvalishvili has overwhelmed every opponent with unmatched pressure, elite wrestling skills, and relentless world-class cardio.

Going into UFC 323, Dvalishvili is the clear betting favourite given his dominance predominantly against strikers. This is an opportunity for the Georgian to become the first fighter in UFC to defend his title four times in a single year. However, all this doesn’t seem to bother Petr Yan, who is ready to avenge his previous loss to Dvalishvili. 

According to Yan, he competed at only fifty percent efficiency during their previous encounter, promising a completely different performance in the rematch. The Russian is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, aiming to maintain momentum and reclaim dominance in the highly competitive bantamweight division.

Alexandre Pantoja will defend his flyweight championship for the fifth time, boasting an eight-fight win streak and record-setting finishes. Pantoja holds multiple flyweight records, including the most career wins and finishes in division history, cementing his dominance. Joshua Van earned his title shot after impressive victories, including a fight-of-the-year contender, showcasing relentless striking and high-volume, action-packed performances.
