Conor McGregor Recalls Joe Rogan Interview From His Last UFC Fight During Recent Meeting With a Homeless Man

Conor McGregor interview with Joe Rogan at UFC 264

Despite ongoing controversies and allegations, Conor McGregor remains immensely popular in Ireland, often praised for visible gestures supporting communities. Recently, McGregor was seen helping homeless people in Dublin, distributing food and clothes, while spending time listening to stories.

During the heartfelt interaction, the former UFC double champion also motivated individuals, encouraging them to fight hardships with belief and resilience. At one moment, McGregor met a man sitting on the pavement, surprising onlookers by calmly sitting beside him. The Notorious recalled his infamous Joe Rogan interview at UFC 264, referencing perseverance after breaking his leg inside the octagon.

Using personal experience, McGregor shared motivational words, reminding the man that setbacks can define strength and renewed purpose forward. “I was in the octagon, sitting like this after my last fight. And I got back up. We get back up on our feet,” said Conor McGregor.

The incident occurred during UFC 264, when Conor McGregor faced Dustin Poirier in their highly anticipated trilogy bout. The ‘Notorious’ shattered his tibia, remained seated, and addressed Joe Rogan, answering questions despite visible pain and severe injury.

Even while injured, McGregor continued trash-talking Poirier, fully embracing his entertainer persona and refusing to abandon theatrics under pressure. Rogan later revealed McGregor personally requested the interview, emotionally charged, and over four years later, the Irishman remains absent from the Octagon.
