Worapon Faces French Newcomer Tom Casse In ONE Friday Fights 153 Main Event On May 8
ONE Friday Fights 153 returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, May 8, live in Asia primetime. Nine bouts are on the card, with fighters hunting a US$100,000 contract and a permanent place on ONE’s global roster.
Headlining the card is a bantamweight Muay Thai main event between Worapon Lukjaoporongtom and French debutant Tom “No Time” Casse.
Worapon has been one of the breakout performers of the weekly series, earning back-to-back performance bonuses on the back of first-round knockouts over Soe Lin Oo and Arthur Brossier. The Buriram native is a knee specialist with heavy hands and a crushing clinch who has made the finish look straightforward at this level.
Casse steps into that momentum carrying polished boxing credentials and the kind of aggressive pressure game that has earned him the “No Time” nickname — the suggestion being that opponents rarely get enough of it before he closes the show.
The co-main event delivers a highly anticipated promotional debut from former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Cyber Sor Tienpo, who takes on Dedduanglek Torfunfarm in bantamweight Muay Thai.
Elsewhere on the card, Khunponnoi Sor Sommai faces Myanmar’s Ye Yint Naung at flyweight. Kendu Irving — a crowd favourite in the weekly series — returns against Adam Benwarwar in bantamweight Muay Thai.
Hern NF Looksuan steps into the atomweight division against Turkey’s Cihan Dogu. Taylor McClatchie and Zoe Neuschwander meet at flyweight, Wan Muhammad Sabri takes on Aldo Cruz, and the card also features a bantamweight MMA clash between Jongjun Park and Junpei Nagatome.
