Paddy Pimblett’s stock continues to rise following his dominant win at UFC 329, and even former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes “The Baddy” could now be be in line for a shot at the BMF title.
Bisping replied to a post by Sidekick Boxing highlighting Pimblett’s post-fight callouts and simply wrote: “Paddy for the BMF belt?” The comment quickly caught the attention of fans, with many agreeing that a showdown against former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira would make perfect sense.

Following his impressive victory, Pimblett called out several of the lightweight division’s biggest names. While he made it clear he has tremendous respect for Oliveira’s achievements, the Liverpudlian believes he has what it takes to beat the Brazilian.
“I’ve got nothing but respect for Charles Oliveira. He’s an absolute legend in the sport, but he’s on his way out, and I think if he tried to grapple with me, I’d submit him,” Pimblett said during the UFC 329 post-fight press conference.
A matchup between Pimblett and Oliveira would be one of the most exciting fights the UFC could book. Oliveira is widely regarded as one of the greatest submission specialists in MMA history, while Pimblett has built his career on his own elite grappling ability and fearless approach inside the Octagon.
The BMF title has become synonymous with action-packed fights and fan-favorite competitors. Both Oliveira and Pimblett fit that description, making the contest an intriguing option if the UFC decides to put the symbolic belt on the line.

Whether the promotion goes in that direction remains to be seen, but Bisping’s reaction has only intensified the discussion. With Pimblett’s momentum at an all-time high, a BMF clash with Charles Oliveira could be one of the biggest lightweight fights the UFC can make.
