SENSHI Announce Global Partnership With DAZN Starting September 5

International kickboxing promotion SENSHI announced a landmark partnership on Friday, 4th September, that will see future events airing live on DAZN beginning this weekend.

SENSHI 33 emanates from Varna, Bulgaria, on Saturday, 5th September, showcasing a colossal one-night light-heavyweight kickboxing Grand Prix, which will air for free for fight fans worldwide on the network and will continue into 2027.

The milestone marks a huge moment in the expansion of the Bulgaria-based promotion as they continue their rise in the all-striking realm. It also gives their combat sports fans access to all of their future events, which have featured some of the most prominent names in kickboxing.

Legendary kickboxer and president of the Kyokushin World Union’s European base, Semmy Schilt, believes the deal with DAZN will allow SENSHI to prosper and move much closer to the world’s elite combat sports promotions.

“Partnering with DAZN is a major step for SENSHI. From the beginning, our ambition has been to create a world-class platform where elite fighters can compete at the highest level and the next generation can build their careers on an international stage,” he said.

“DAZN gives us the global reach to bring these athletes, our Grand Prix format and the spirit of SENSHI to fight fans around the world. This partnership is not only about reaching a bigger audience – it is also taking SENSHI to the next level.”

SENSHI’s one-night format is a throwback to the glory days of kickboxing, and DAZN Group’s CEO, Shay Segev, believes that was a big part of bringing the promotion under the network’s umbrella.

“DAZN has a proven track record of helping sports properties expand their reach, grow their audiences and unlock their global potential, and we’re excited to do the same with SENSHI,” Segev said.

“SENSHI is a compelling property with elite athletes, a distinctive tournament format, and strong momentum in the combat sports community. Adding SENSHI complements DAZN’s world-class portfolio and gives fans access to even more premium combat sports content to enjoy on our platform.”

SENSHI 33’s light-heavyweight Grand Prix this weekend will mark the start of the partnership with DAZN as eight men in the 95kg division strike it out until only one man remains to be crowned the Grand Prix champion.

Accompanying the blockbuster attraction will be two reserve bouts and three Super Fights, as contestants from around the globe flock to Varna’s beach.

SENSHI 33 airs live from 5:30pm BST on Saturday, 5th September, and can be viewed for free on DAZN.
