Tommy Fury has admitted that he would struggle to beat his half-brother, former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, in a boxing match.
Tommy, who has built his own boxing career while also gaining mainstream attention through his personal life and reality television appearances, was asked whether he believed he could defeat Tyson inside the ring.
The younger Fury had a straightforward answer, dismissing the possibility of beating the former heavyweight champion while making it clear that a fight between the brothers would never happen.
“Absolutely not. Even though we would never fight because brothers don’t fight and family don’t fight, but if we would, I think he would absolutely blow me over,” Tommy said.

How Do Tommy Fury and Tyson Fury Compare?
Although the two share the same family name, their boxing careers have followed very different paths.
Tyson Fury established himself as one of the leading heavyweights of his generation, famously defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to become the unified heavyweight world champion. He later became a two-time world heavyweight champion and developed a reputation for his size, movement and defensive ability.
Tommy, meanwhile, has competed primarily at cruiserweight and gained significant attention outside boxing. He has recorded victories over opponents including Jake Paul and KSI, establishing himself as a notable name in crossover boxing.
The difference in their experience, physical attributes and level of opposition makes a hypothetical fight between the brothers an intriguing but highly unrealistic prospect.
Tommy’s comments also reflect the respect he has for Tyson’s achievements in the sport. Rather than attempting to make a bold claim about his chances, he acknowledged the gap between them while ruling out the possibility of stepping into the ring against a member of his own family.
For now, a Fury family showdown remains firmly in the realm of fantasy, with Tommy making it clear that his relationship with Tyson matters far more than any hypothetical boxing contest.
