Anthony Joshua has reignited his war of words with Tyson Fury, making it clear he hasn’t given up on what many believe is the biggest fight left in British boxing. In a fiery Instagram post, Joshua praised fellow heavyweight Joseph Parker for his warrior spirit before turning his attention to Fury, branding him “dippy” and questioning his fighting heart.
“I’m proud of Joseph Parker. Even though he is a competitor. Real recognises real. He’s in the game to fight whoever, whenever and that’s the DNA of a real general,” Joshua wrote. “Unlike his dippy mate Tyson Fury. I would dissect his career/record in minutes but I’ll leave that for a potential gloves are off if he ever comes back and fights Big Femi.”
Joshua didn’t stop there. Speaking directly to his fans, he made his intentions crystal clear: “To my supporters, I’ll be back to lace up my boots and put on my gloves sooner than later, hopefully punching Fury’s head in and dancing around his flicker jab with ease.”

Will It Finally Happen?
The all-British clash between Joshua and Fury has been years in the making, derailed multiple times by failed negotiations, injuries, and both fighters taking different career paths. With Fury coming off recent setbacks and talk of retirement, questions linger about whether the Gypsy King will step back into the ring to face Joshua.
For Joshua, the timing feels urgent. His comeback plans point toward a huge showdown in 2026, and Fury remains the most lucrative and legacy-defining opponent on the table. Promoters have indicated that the logistics are simpler than ever, and with public demand at an all-time high, the only missing piece is Fury’s willingness.
