Breaking: Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate Charged with 21 Criminal Offenses in the UK

Influencer brothers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate are facing serious legal trouble in the United Kingdom after the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced that they have been charged with a total of 21 offenses. These charges include rape, human trafficking, actual bodily harm, and running a prostitution ring for profit.

The CPS made the announcement on May 28, 2025, confirming that the charges followed an investigation conducted by Bedfordshire Police.

Specific Allegations

Andrew Tate, 38, has been charged with 10 offenses, linked to three alleged victims. His younger brother, Tristan Tate, 36, is facing 11 charges, all connected to a single complainant. According to the authorities, the alleged crimes took place between 2012 and 2015.

Extradition Efforts from Romania

The charges were authorized last year, and a European Arrest Warrant was issued in an attempt to extradite the brothers from Romania, where they are currently being investigated in a separate case involving allegations of rape and human trafficking. Although a Romanian court has approved their extradition, that process will not be carried out until the ongoing legal matters in Romania are resolved.

Additional Legal Issues

In parallel to the criminal proceedings, Andrew Tate is also named in a UK civil lawsuit filed by four women. They allege that he raped and assaulted them. This civil case is currently scheduled to go to trial in 2027.

Reports also claim that while in Romanian custody, the brothers attempted to “intimidate victims and critics into silence.” Allegedly, they directed harassment efforts from prison, hired private investigators, and coordinated online attacks through their associates to discredit those involved in the cases.

Public Persona and Response

Andrew Tate, a former professional kickboxer, has built a large online following with content that frequently promotes misogynistic ideas. He often refers to himself as the “king of toxic masculinity.” The Tate brothers have both denied all allegations against them and maintain their innocence.

The CPS emphasized that “criminal proceedings are active and that the defendants have the right to a fair trial.” It also asked that people refrain from public speculation that could affect the judicial process.

The case continues to draw major public attention as it unfolds, raising questions about influencer culture, legal accountability, and the use of online platforms to influence public opinion.
