Caitlin Chapman Takes Gold in the First-Ever ISKA AMA Event Down Under

Caitlin Chapman has once again proven why she’s one of the brightest names in British kickboxing after taking gold at the inaugural ISKA AMA Championships held in Australia. The talented fighter pulled off an incredible clean sweep, capturing five gold medals against international competition from the USA, Australia, Mongolia, and Germany.

Chapman’s success is the result of years of dedication to the sport. Having trained from a young age under her father, Alan Chapman, at Impact Fitness Zone in Teesside, she has grown into one of the gym’s standout athletes. Now, not only a fierce competitor, Caitlin has also taken on the role of instructor, helping shape the next generation of fighters with the same discipline and passion that defined her own journey.

Her dominant performance in Australia included stepping up across multiple weight divisions, even taking a fight outside her class to secure a silver medal for another athlete. It was a true display of sportsmanship and grit, earning praise from both coaches and fellow competitors.

After 10 years of competing at world championship level, Chapman’s clean sweep of K1 gold medals is a career highlight and a proud moment for the Impact Fitness Zone team. The achievement cements her as one of the sport’s most respected amateur competitors, and her future in coaching looks just as bright as her fighting career.

Caitlin made the journey Down Under as part of a strong UK team led by Mick Crossland from The Combat Academy. Crossland, a respected British coach and former world champion, has built a reputation for producing elite-level fighters and guiding them to success on the international stage. His experience and leadership played a key role in helping the athletes perform at their best throughout the ISKA AMA event.

With the ISKA AMA Championships marking a new chapter for amateur kickboxing globally, Caitlin Chapman’s success down under sets the tone for what could be an exciting new era for the sport—and for her own journey within it.
