Christian Lee vs. Tye Ruotolo Tops A Five-Bout Inner Circle 37 As Komawut And Yodphupa Run It Back
ONE Championship’s November schedule opens with a World Title fight steeped in family history. The full lineup for The Inner Circle 37 is now set for Friday, November 6, at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, streaming exclusively for members at live.onefc.com.
Two-division king Christian “The Warrior” Lee defends his ONE Lightweight MMA World Title against Tye Ruotolo, the reigning ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion. Ruotolo is also the man who handed Lee’s younger brother, Adrian “The Phenom” Lee, the first loss of his professional career.
Lee, 28, owns the most wins, finishes, and first-round finishes in ONE history, with 17 of his 18 victories inside the distance. He first claimed lightweight gold by knocking out Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON in May 2019, then added welterweight gold by stopping Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov in November 2022.
Ruotolo, 23, began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at three years old in Huntington Beach, California. He submitted Adrian in his MMA debut and then choked out Shozo Isojima in under three minutes at ONE 173, and he now has the chance to become the first ONE Submission Grappling World Champion to win MMA gold.
The co-main event revisits a Thai rivalry from February 2024. Komawut FA Group edged Yodphupa Petkiatpet by split decision at ONE Friday Fights 50, and the pair meet again in bantamweight Muay Thai.
Komawut, a 27-year-old from Nong Khai, snapped a five-fight skid with a split decision over Kyaw Swar Win at The Inner Circle 27 in August. Yodphupa, the 22-year-old Road to ONE: Thailand Champion, returned from almost two years away with a unanimous decision over Adam Benwarwar at ONE Friday Fights 144.
England’s Cal Cook also features, facing Dabdam Por Tor Tor Thongtawee in strawweight Muay Thai. Here is the full card for The Inner Circle 37:
- Christian Lee vs. Tye Ruotolo (ONE Lightweight MMA World Championship)
- Komawut FA Group vs. Yodphupa Petkiatpet (Muay Thai, bantamweight)
- Kongchai Chanaidonmueang vs. Tantawy Ahmed (Muay Thai, flyweight)
