Conor McGregor Eyes Annual Fourth of July BKFC Tradition, Says David Feldman

Conor McGregor could be looking to turn Independence Day into a permanent fixture on the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship calendar.

Speaking after BKFC’s latest Fourth of July event, BKFC President David Feldman revealed that McGregor has already expressed his desire to make the holiday show an annual tradition. According to Feldman, the former UFC champion reached out after the event with a clear message about the promotion’s future.

“Conor McGregor messaged me and told me, ‘We’re doing this every year.’ I said if you’re here every year, we’re gonna do it every year,” Feldman said.

McGregor’s presence could make Fourth of July BKFC events a yearly attraction

McGregor has become increasingly involved with BKFC since becoming a part-owner of the promotion. His appearances at events have generated significant buzz, with the Irish superstar regularly stealing headlines despite not competing inside the ring.

If McGregor continues attending the annual Fourth of July event, BKFC could establish it as one of the promotion’s biggest shows of the year. The holiday weekend already provides a major platform for combat sports in the United States, and McGregor’s star power only adds to the appeal.

While there has been no official announcement confirming next year’s event, Feldman’s comments suggest both he and McGregor are committed to building the tradition. With McGregor remaining one of the biggest names in combat sports, his involvement could help BKFC continue expanding its audience and cement the Fourth of July card as a marquee event on the promotion’s calendar.
