Conor McGregor Eyes OnlyFans Acquisition in Potential $8 Billion Deal

UFC icon and business mogul Conor McGregor has sparked fresh headlines after expressing serious interest in purchasing the popular subscription platform OnlyFans. The Irish fighter made the revelation via an Instagram Story, telling his followers, “I’m in serious talks to buy this,” referencing the reported sale of the site.

OnlyFans, which initially rose to prominence for its adult content, has evolved into a broader creator platform featuring artists, fitness coaches, musicians, and influencers. Its financial performance has been impressive—generating nearly half a billion dollars in profit in the year leading up to November 2023.

The platform is currently owned by entrepreneur Leonid Radvinsky through Fenix International. Reports suggest that Radvinsky is exploring options to sell the company, and McGregor appears to be positioning himself as a serious contender in the buyer’s market.

This move aligns with McGregor’s growing reputation as a savvy businessman. In addition to his fight career, he’s made successful forays into the whiskey business with Proper No. Twelve, and more recently, he acquired a stake in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in 2024. These ventures suggest that McGregor is actively building a diversified investment empire beyond the cage.

With an estimated net worth of around $200 million, McGregor may need to partner with other investors or financial institutions to meet the hefty $8 billion price tag. Still, his brand value, global recognition, and strategic partnerships could make him a viable candidate.

Though he hasn’t competed in the UFC since a leg injury in 2021, McGregor continues to dominate headlines—whether for rumored comeback fights or his off-the-mat business moves. A potential OnlyFans acquisition would not only mark a bold new direction for the fighter but could also significantly reshape the platform’s image and future strategy.

As of now, no formal deal has been announced, but if McGregor follows through, it could be one of the most high-profile acquisitions by a sports figure in recent history.
