A recent social media post from Misfits Boxing jokingly suggested a fight between Dana White and Eddie Hearn, but the idea comes at a time when the two promoters are already involved in a growing rivalry in the combat sports world.
The promotional graphic showed White and Hearn facing off with a caption stating that Misfits Boxing would be happy to host the bout on neutral ground if the pair wanted to settle their differences. While the post was clearly meant as a playful marketing move, it reflects a real back-and-forth that has recently developed between the two influential figures.
White, the long-time leader of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, has recently expanded his involvement in boxing through the launch of Zuffa Boxing. The new venture aims to bring a different promotional model to the sport and potentially compete with established boxing promoters.

Tensions between White and Hearn escalated earlier this year when Zuffa Boxing secured British welterweight Conor Benn for a one-fight deal after his contract with Matchroom Boxing expired. Benn had spent most of his professional career fighting under Hearn’s promotion, making the move a notable development in the business rivalry between the two sides.
The competitive tension increased further when Hearn later brought Tom Aspinall, the interim heavyweight champion in the UFC, into the Matchroom Sport talent agency in a commercial advisory role.

During a recent media appearance, White even floated the idea of settling the rivalry in the ring, saying that if Hearn wanted to box, he would be open to the challenge. White noted that while neither man is an active fighter, he does have some boxing experience from earlier in his career.
Hearn did not dismiss the suggestion. The British promoter responded by saying he would be willing to take the fight and even joked that he would knock White out if they ever stepped into the ring together.
Although an actual bout between the two executives remains highly unlikely, the Misfits Boxing post tapped into the ongoing feud and quickly caught the attention of fans. For now, the rivalry between Dana White and Eddie Hearn continues outside the ring, but their verbal exchanges have become one of the more entertaining storylines in the business side of combat sports.
