British Muay Thai fighter Freddie Haggerty, who has been making a name for himself, was emulating the success of his older brother Jonathan in One Championship by achieving three consecutive victories.
However, he faced his first defeat at One 170, despite an incredible performance and demonstrating he has the courage of a champion.
Freddie took no time out of the ring, with just 6 weeks since his last bout, went up a weight to face Colombian Jordan Estupinan in the Impact Arena in Bangkok.
Haggerty was knocked down twice in second round, but showed he had a heart of a Lion by piling on the pressure and letting the fight go the distance.
Brother Jonathan posted:
“Absolute warrior! Moved up in weight to test himself. Not the result we wanted but I am super proud of you! Heart of a lion. Love you bro ❤️”
Even though Freddie has experienced his first defeat, he is not letting it stop him and quoted;
“Don’t let the wins go to your head and the loses to your heart!”
