Fighters’ Profiles and Strength
Giga Chikadze – LWLWW
Giga Chikadze holds a professional record of 15 wins and 4 losses. Out of those victories, he has 9 knockouts, 1 submission, and 5 decision wins. On the losing side, he has 1 submission loss and 3 by decision.
In the worldwide MMA rankings, he is listed as the 87th Greatest MMA Striker of All Time. He also ranks as the 12th Current Best MMA Featherweight Fighter.

His professional journey started at the World Series of Fighting (WSOF), where he took a loss. After that, he appeared in the Dana White Contender Series (DWCS).
Since joining the UFC, Chikadze has fought 10 times and won 8 of those bouts. His most recent fight was on July 27, 2024, at UFC 304. He faced Arnold Allen and lost by unanimous decision.
Giga shines in kickboxing, but his ground and clinch work haven’t shown enough to prove he’s ready for a title shot at 145. His kicks are sharp, but his overall game feels limited.
He has the look of an old-school kickboxer. Everything he does is smooth. He controls distance well. His kicks come easy, but they hit hard. He can switch stances and move in and out with punches. He’s clearly getting more comfortable in MMA.
David Onama – WWWLW
David Onama holds a professional MMA record of 13 wins and 2 losses. He is also known as “The Silent Assassin” and is currently on a three-fight winning streak. His most recent fight was on November 16, 2024, at UFC 309, where he defeated Roberto Romero.
He is ranked as the 97th Current Best MMA Lightweight Fighter in the Worldwide MMA rankings. Over time, he has shared the cage with tough opponents like Nate Landwehr, Gabriel Santos, Gabriel Benítez, Antonio Castillo Jr., Mike Plazola, Mason Jones, and Justin Overton.

Final Prediction
Giga Chikadze is a two-time kickboxing champion who fights with an orthodox stance. He doesn’t mess around—he just goes in and gets the job done. His talent is unreal. There’s so much power behind his strikes, and his speed is almost unreal. His kicks might be the fastest I’ve seen in the UFC recently. They’re fast, but more importantly, they hit just the right weak spots—especially the liver.
He snaps them out with little wind-up and serious force. It’s hard for his opponents to see them coming. Lately, he’s getting more patient with his finishes and better at picking the right moments.
Curious about his ground game? He did try a few chokes against Barboza, so there’s something there. Still, it’s crazy how he throws such hard punches without breaking his hands. What’s even crazier is how his opponents manage to stay standing after getting hit.
Uganda’s David Onama also stands out. His combos are on point. His opponents barely have time to react. He uses a big, explosive kickboxing style and has serious knockout power. He knows how to switch stance, too.
