Former UFC title challenger and current BKFC fighter Darren Till is continuing to grow his presence outside the ring. His promotion, Gorilla Promotions, has officially announced Gorilla Bare Knuckle (GBK), with its debut event set for July 11 at the Liverpool Grand Central Dome.
The announcement marks another step in Till’s efforts to build his own combat sports brand. While Gorilla Promotions initially focused on traditional boxing, GBK represents its first move into the rapidly growing world of bare-knuckle boxing.

From boxing events to bare-knuckle competition
Gorilla Promotions is owned by Darren Till, who launched the company after beginning his crossover boxing career following his UFC exit. The promotion has previously staged traditional boxing events, including professional contests, white-collar bouts and tournament-style competitions designed to showcase both established and emerging fighters, primarily in Liverpool.
Now, the promotion is expanding into bare-knuckle boxing under the Gorilla Bare Knuckle (GBK) banner with the slogan, “No Gloves. No Excuses.” The inaugural event will take place on July 11 at the Liverpool Grand Central Dome.
While no fights have been officially announced yet, fighter announcements are expected soon as the promotion builds towards its first-ever bare-knuckle card.
Till has also embraced the sport himself, signing with BKFC and winning his promotional debut earlier this year. With GBK, he is now aiming to create another platform for fighters while expanding Gorilla Promotions into one of combat sports’ fastest-growing disciplines.
The success of the debut event could determine how quickly GBK establishes itself as a regular fixture on the British combat sports calendar.
