“I Have to Accept That” – Jiri Prochazka Prepared to Miss Baby’s Birth for UFC Title Shot

Jiri Prochazka

Jiri Prochazka is one of the most popular fighters on the UFC roster, known for his exciting style and unique personality. The former light heavyweight champion is famous for entertaining fans both inside the Octagon and during media appearances.

Jiri Prochazka is currently focused on earning another UFC light heavyweight title shot and getting back his belt. According to Prochazka, he might receive that championship opportunity in April, which could define the next phase of his career.

However, those possible fight dates may collide with the expected birth of his child, creating a difficult personal situation. In a recent interview, Prochazka admitted he is ready to sacrifice that moment if a title opportunity truly requires it.

She have the date, with the baby for 13th of April and possible date of the fight is 11th. I told her,” If there will be a possibility to fight for a title, I have to accept that.” And she said if that will be a fight for title, let’s go for that,” said Jiri Prochazka via MMA TODAY.

Jiri Prochazka is married to his longtime partner Kamila, keeping their relationship largely away from constant public attention. The couple has been together for several years and recently announced they are expecting their first child together. Prochazka celebrated the pregnancy with a unique gender reveal, swinging a sword in true samurai-inspired fashion.

Can Jiri Prochazka finally take his revenge?

Jiri Prochazka is currently on an impressive two-fight winning streak, defeating Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr with dominant performances. The ‘Samurai’ finished both opponents convincingly and now aims to carry that momentum forward while pushing strongly for another UFC title opportunity.

Jiri Prochazka has already suffered two knockout losses against current champion Alex Pereira, while fighting for the title. However, those defeats have not discouraged the Samurai, who are confident about eventually defeating Pereira and reclaiming championship glory.

Pereira, on the other hand, is more focused on making his heavyweight debut against Jon Jones at the upcoming White House event. It would be interesting to see whether Jiri Prochazka will get the trilogy fight against the Brazilian and take his revenge inside the Octagon.
