“I’ve Got Proof”- Deontay Wilder Accuses Tyson Fury of Being Boxing’s ‘Biggest Cheater’
Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury was one of the most popular rivalries in the modern heavyweight boxing scene. The pair fought on three different occasions, and the ‘Gypsy King’ won twice, while one fight ended in a draw.
The fights had incredible moments of constant action and controversies, which are still relevant in boxing discussions. In a recent interview, Wilder claimed that in the last two fights, Fury cheated and used unfair methods intentionally and repeatedly.
He stated that he has proof and evidence and wants to bring everything fully into the light for fans. According to the ‘Bronze Bomber’, he plans to expose the British boxer through his documentary and movie projects coming soon.
“He didn’t win nothing, they gave it to him. I can’t think of our third fight, but in two of them, he definitely cheated. I’ve got proof and evidence of that. When I do my documentary and movie about it, it’s going to be presented. I’m going to bring the people, and the artifacts, I know. The man cheated. He’s the biggest cheater in boxing history,” Deontay Wilder via Ring Magazine.
Deontay Wilder claimed that if he is lying, then Tyson Fury should sue him while raising race claims about belief and perception. He argued that Fury being White helped him publicly, while being black meant nobody believed his accusations seriously in media circles.
The American also said that in the first fight, the referee gave Fury extra recovery time after the knockdown controversy. He previously accused Fury of cheating through glove tampering, loaded knuckles, illegal wraps, and other unfair tactics repeatedly during fights.

Since their last fight, Deontay Wilder has struggled for consistent momentum, but at 40 remains one of boxing’s biggest punchers today. Fury, meanwhile, secured wins against Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora before suffering consecutive defeats against Oleksandr Usyk in recent years.
Those losses shifted narratives around Fury’s dominance and placed new scrutiny on his standing within the heavyweight division globally. Following recent accusations from Wilder, Fury has also come out to share his side of the story, highlighting his recent losses.
“My last 2 fights didn’t go the way I wanted. In this life, you don’t always get what you want… you don’t hear me crying and moaning, saying, ‘Oh my God, he cheated!’ That’s not me,” said Tyson Fury via Instagram.
After his latest loss, Tyson Fury announced his retirement but recently revealed a comeback and is scheduled to fight Aslanbek Makhmudov on April 11, 2026. Fans are excited to see whether the ‘Gypsy King’ can make a grand comeback or if this bout becomes the final nail in his professional boxing career.
