Jack Della Maddalena set to fight for the title after UFC London replacement

Leon Edwards is set to headline UFC London. However, his opponent has changed. Earlier, the Brit was supposed to take on Jack Della Maddalena in what was supposed to be a title eliminator.

However, as per Dana White’s recent announcement, Edwards will now go up against Sean Brady to headline the event. Edwards aims to rebound at home. He has not competed since he lost the UFC welterweight title to Muhammad in July. The loss was his first since Muhammad defeated him in their initial meeting in 2015.

As far as Brady (17-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) is concerned, he enters the fight on consecutive wins over Kelvin Gastelum and Gilbert Burns. Both were decisions. Brady’s only career loss came against the current champion Muhammad. This would certainly prove to be a huge opportunity for Brady as he aims to cause an upset. If Brady can secure a victory over Edwards, we can see him compete for the title next.
