Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua is not happening: Simply click-bait claims Tony Bellew

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Bellew Gives His Thoughts

Nearly every combat sports media source has jumped on the announcement of Jake Paul fighting Anthony Joshua this Decemeber. And it is not shocking to hear Paul has picked an oppenent which will get everyone talking, especially that he has been in the ring with Mike Tyson.

However, former cruiserweight world champion, Tony Bellew went off at IFL TV when asked his thoughts of Paul vs Joshua.

Bellew said “Come on, he was fighting Gevonta Davis last week. The mans 6 inches shorter than him and 5 stone lighter. What have you smoked this morning?”

As much as the fight sounds crazy, money talks, and the fact it could be one of boxings biggest PPV, Joshua could have his price met.

Bellew went on to say “Its not news, its called click-bait, and you numpty’s fell for it”.

What would happen if Jake Paul fought Anthony Joshua?

If Jake Paul was to face Anthony Joshua, it could be a very dangerous fight for him. As much as Paul likes a challenge, Joshua is a former two time heavyweight champion who has gone up against some of the best.

However, if the bout has only 5 rounds, Paul may be able to avoid such punishment and make it to the final bell. With that said, it would certianly ruin Joshuas credibility.

Currently, the match has not been officially confirmed, and Bellew is of the opinion that unless he sees both fighters in the ring wearing 10oz gloves and the bell rings, it won’t be happening.
