Jarvis Khattri was undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the Misfits Boxing promotion, earning widespread attention through consistent performances. The YouTuber turned boxer impressively held the Misfits welterweight title for 735 days until his recent decision to vacate it. However, the entire negotiation process reportedly became difficult for Khattri, as he has raised several serious allegations against Misfits Boxing.
Recently, Misfits Boxing officially announced that Jarvis had voluntarily vacated the welterweight title, formally relinquishing the championship belt altogether. The announcement emphasised there was no reported injury involved and avoided suggesting any dramatic controversy had influenced his quiet decision.
Instead, it was framed as Jarvis Khattri strategically stepping back, opening the division for contenders while he evaluates future options within the scene. However, Jarvis’s social media posts present a different narrative, expressing frustration about Misfits’ organisational decisions and their negotiations. He implied disagreements existed regarding contractual obligations and specific fight fee terms, suggesting deeper issues.
“Very frustrating that this how Misfits have gone about this, i didn’t receive a call or text, just a tweet about me retiring the belt. Start of this year I was ready to fight but dates kept being pushed and misfits kept asking me to fight for lower fee than in my contract…Misfits and I could have done something cool together about retiring the belt but now they’ve taken that opportunity,” wrote Jarvis Khattri on X.

Jarvis Khattri joined Misfits Boxing in 2023 and quickly earned a reputation as a talented and determined welterweight fighter. He won the welterweight title by defeating Ben Williams via third-round TKO, showcasing impressive skill and power inside the ring. While Misfits Boxing have announced several new fights, nobody expected their partnership with Jarvis to end like this.
