Jon Jones was recently involved in a road rage incident in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after a heated exchange with another driver escalated. The other driver claimed that the former heavyweight champion nearly hit his car multiple times, which led to both individuals confronting each other in a parking lot.
A video surfaced showing Jones stepping out, telling the man to calm down, then flipping him off before walking away. Jones had his hands inside his hoodie pocket, and it was captioned as if he was hiding a gun.

The driver admitted he initially provoked Jones, while Jones later stated he felt chased and was proud it did not escalate further. Despite the tense situation, no physical altercation occurred, and the encounter remained limited to verbal confrontation between both parties involved.
The incident gained attention due to Jones’ past controversies, with fans debating accountability while questions continue surrounding his future in combat sports. Following that, Jones released a statement on X, clarifying his side of the story.
“This kid proceeded to chase my car down for two blocks, revving his engine and trying to intimidate me. I am glad this happened to me and not one of the senior citizens in our community. I am proud of myself for standing up for myself and not allowing that kind of bullying or intimidation,” wrote Jon Jones via X.

This isn’t the first time Jones has been involved in a road rage incident, as in 2015, he fled the scene after crashing into a car driven by a pregnant woman, raising serious legal concerns.
Following the incident, Jones turned himself in and faced felony charges, later pleading guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and receiving probation, community service, and a temporary suspension from the UFC organization.
Recently, Jon Jones had a beef with the UFC regarding how the promotion mistreated him during the last negotiations. While CEO Dana White immediately shut down Jones’ claims, many superstars have backed Jones in the controversy.

Jake Paul questions UFC for recent beef with Jon Jones
Jake Paul has always been a huge critic of Dana White and UFC and has often spoken publicly against the organisation. Paul has questioned the way UFC treats its fighters and often asked superstars to leave the promotion.
Recently, UFC announced the much-anticipated White House event, and it received an underwhelming response from fans. In a recent interview, Paul shared his honest opinion while showing his support for Jon Jones, who was supposed to be part of the event.
“You have a Spaniard beating a white American on the patriotic White House card. Big mistake. Why not pay Jon Jones? The best fighters are wrestlers. Khabib. Khamzat. Boring. No one wants that,” said Jake Paul via Theo Von.

Paul’s Netflix MMA event is now regarded as a direct competition to the UFC White House event. With big names like Ronda Rousey, Nate Diaz, and Francis Ngannou, fans are more hyped about Paul’s card than the UFC White House event.
