Logan Paul CryptoZoo Lawsuit Officially Dismissed: Judge Ends Legal Battle Over Failed NFT Project

For over two years, Logan Paul’s involvement in the failed NFT project CryptoZoo has been a magnet for controversy, criticism, and courtroom drama. Now, that saga has officially come to an end. A federal judge has finalized the dismissal of the class-action lawsuit filed against the YouTuber-turned-WWE star, marking the closure of his long-standing legal battle over the crypto venture.

The lawsuit, initially filed in the Western District of Texas, accused Paul and other developers of defrauding investors through the CryptoZoo NFT game — a project launched in 2021 that promised a “fun, money-making game” where users could buy, hatch, and breed exotic animal NFTs. Investors claimed that the project never delivered on its promises, leaving many holding worthless digital assets.

According to TMZ, the court reaffirmed its earlier August ruling that the plaintiffs failed to connect Logan Paul directly to their alleged losses. The judge ruled that no reasonable juror could find Paul’s statements misleading or fraudulent, noting that his promotional activity alone didn’t meet the threshold for legal liability.

Paul’s attorney, Jeff Neiman, told reporters that the ruling was “a complete vindication,” emphasizing that Logan did not engage in any deceptive or fraudulent behavior. The decision effectively shuts down the primary lawsuit accusing Paul of running a “rug pull” — a term used when crypto developers allegedly abandon projects after collecting funds.

While the legal storm has subsided, CryptoZoo remains a cautionary tale of how influencer-backed crypto ventures can spiral out of control. Investors poured thousands into NFTs and tokens tied to a game that never fully materialized, sparking widespread backlash and a reputational hit for Logan.

Still, despite the public criticism, Logan Paul has walked away legally unscathed. The dismissal means the influencer is no longer facing direct liability for the project’s failures, even as other related disputes among developers continue.

As one user joked on X after the ruling, “This man could launch CryptoZoo 2 tomorrow and people would still buy in.” It’s a sharp reminder that in the volatile world of crypto and celebrity influence, hype often outpaces accountability.
