“Looking for the Finish” – Dan Hooker Sends Chilling Warning to Benoit Saint Denis Ahead of UFC 325

Dan Hooker vs. Benoit Saint Denis

This Saturday on the UFC 325 main card, Dan Hooker will face Benoit Saint Denis in a highly anticipated lightweight showdown. The bout takes place at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, offering Hooker a regional advantage with strong New Zealand support.

Despite entering the contest as the betting underdog, the experienced ‘Hangman’ insists odds will not dictate his performance. Hooker recently stated he is hunting a brutal finish, promising aggression and violence from the opening seconds of the fight.

He also addressed Benoit Saint Denis’ previous claims of stopping him, brushing off the comments with confidence and defiance. “Who the f*** has he ever knocked out. I’m gonna swing big. I’m gonna look for the finish. I don’t care if I get hurt. You’ll have your pound of flesh, fans,” Dan Hooker via UFC.

Saint Denis is currently on a three-fight win streak, knocking out Beneil Dariush in his last outing, which has fueled his momentum entering UFC 325. Motivated to beat Hooker, BSD eyes a lightweight title push, believing victory moves him closer to championship contention status.

Meanwhile, Hooker lost his previous bout to Arman Tsarukyan by submission, yet expects a rebound-defining win to reshape his trajectory. Given both fighters’ aggressive styles, fans anticipate relentless exchanges and an absolute war inside the Octagon on Saturday.

Dan Hooker weighs in on the chaos surrounding the lightweight title picture

The UFC lightweight division remains brutally competitive, stacked with elite contenders constantly fighting for position and championship relevance. At UFC 324, Justin Gaethje dominated Paddy Pimblett in the main event, delivering pressure and experience throughout the fight.

Following the victory, Gaethje now holds interim lightweight gold and is expected to challenge champion Ilia Topuria next. However, Dan Hooker believes Arman Tsarukyan deserved consideration, arguing his performances warrant inclusion in the title conversation.

“I like Arman now. He’s won me over as a fan. The saddest part about it is that the best years of his career are being wasted, bro. He should be fighting Ilia. Who don’t want to see that?” Dan Hooker via The Ariel Helwani Show

Arman Tsarukyan has long felt overlooked by the UFC, yet the Armenian contender remains patient, confident, and determined to earn recognition. He stays relevant through strong performances and a consistent social media presence, openly stating his belief that he can defeat Ilia Topuria. Meanwhile, questions remain whether Justin Gaethje captures the title or Topuria retains it, potentially opening a long-awaited opportunity for Tsarukyan.
