Luke Littler admits he would be open to boxing switch under Misfits banner

Luke Littler has revealed he would be open to stepping into the boxing ring later in his career, with the teenage darts superstar admitting the idea of a one-off fight genuinely appeals to him. Known as ‘The Nuke’, Luke Littler has become one of the biggest names in world darts in a remarkably short space of time, and his growing profile is already linking him with crossover opportunities beyond the oche.

The Warrington prodigy was recently spotted ringside at a Queensberry Promotions event, where he watched Nick Balllose his WBA featherweight title to Brandon Figueroa. The experience appeared to spark Littler’s interest in combat sports, even as he continues to dominate on the darts circuit.

Despite his enthusiasm, Littler admitted that not everyone around him is keen on the idea. Speaking about the possibility of boxing, he revealed that his girlfriend Faith would rather see him stay away from the ring, even if the temptation is there.

Littler eyes one-off Misfits fight but packed darts schedule remains priority

Speaking to DAZN, Littler made it clear that if he were ever to box, it would be a one-off event rather than a serious career move. He said he would love to do it, but acknowledged that those closest to him are not convinced. Littler added that if it did happen, he would want it to be under the Misfits Boxing banner, owned by YouTube star and crossover fighter KSI.

When asked who he would want to face, Littler showed his trademark confidence with a simple response, saying he would fight anyone. However, this is not the first time he has spoken about potential opponents. In an interview around 18 months ago with Ariel Helwani, Littler admitted he had tried boxing once or twice when he was younger and made it clear he would prefer to fight a non-darts personality, naming internet figure Beavo as someone he would not shy away from.

For now, finding space for boxing looks difficult. Littler’s schedule is packed with commitments across the European Tour, Pro Tour and Premier League, leaving little room for anything else. Over the weekend, he paraded his second World Championship crown in front of fans at Old Trafford, underlining where his main focus lies.

While a Misfits appearance may be some way off, Littler’s comments show just how far his star power now extends beyond darts, and why the idea of ‘The Nuke’ in a boxing ring continues to capture attention.
