Nate Diaz Teases Three Big Names for Potential UFC Return at White House Event

Nate Diaz calls out Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Mike Perry

Nate Diaz has been out of MMA competition for more than three years now, but remains hugely popular worldwide. The Stockton native continues making headlines through controversial interviews and heated online exchanges with fellow fighters across social media platforms.

Now at 40 years old, Diaz appears ready to return and compete against elite competition again inside the UFC Octagon. In a recent interview, he discussed his motivation to fight at the upcoming White House event card later this year.

He also named several potential opponents he wants to face, promising fans an explosive comeback if negotiations go smoothly soon. “I’m ready to get back in real action. I want to fight either McGregor 3. I wanna fight maybe Dustin Poirier, and then maybe Mike Perry.” said Nate Diaz via TMZ.

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor have fought twice before, splitting victories and creating one of MMA’s biggest rivalries ever witnessed. Their heated rivalry remains massively popular, and McGregor has openly discussed returning to compete at the proposed White House event.

With no confirmed opponent currently, a trilogy bout against Diaz appears commercially compelling and extremely attractive for fans. Meanwhile, Mike Perry, a former UFC fighter, now competes under BKFC rules and is known for aggression and trash-talking.

Perry’s brutal bare-knuckle performances and outspoken personality could easily generate serious hype for a potential showdown with Diaz. Lastly, Dustin Poirier, who recently retired from the UFC, remains extremely popular and may return quickly to settle the rivalry.

Dustin Poirier responds to Nate Diaz call-out

Nate Diaz transitioned into professional boxing after leaving the UFC and competed in two high-profile bouts. He suffered a decision loss against Jake Paul but later secured a victory over his old rival, Jorge Masvidal.

Throughout this period, Diaz engaged in multiple heated exchanges with Dustin Poirier. Following Diaz’s recent public call-out, Poirier quickly took to X and issued a direct response addressing him. “Belt to ass @NateDiaz209,” wrote Dustin Poirier via X.

Dustin Poirier is widely regarded as one of the sharpest boxers in the UFC lightweight division today. In his most recent appearance, Poirier suffered a hard-fought loss against Max Holloway in a high-paced striking battle. Fans still believe he remains a dangerous matchup and potential fan favourite against Nate Diaz in future contests.

Meanwhile, Dana White has clarified that bouts for the proposed White House event are already finalized. Supporters now debate whether Diaz realistically fits into those plans or if the speculation remains pure promotional excitement.
