Thai striking sensation Sangarthit Looksaikongdin will look to build on his impressive promotional debut when he headlines ONE Friday Fights 114 against seasoned veteran Suablack Tor Pran49.
The pair will collide in 140-pound kickboxing at the top of a star-studded card this Friday, 27th June, at ONE Friday Fights 114 inside Bangkok, Thailand’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium.
Sangarthit – brother-in-law to former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon – announced his arrival in style at ONE Friday Fights 100 in April. He systematically broke down Super Yay Chan en route to a unanimous decision victory.
The rising star showcased his technical striking prowess throughout the three-round affair, consistently finding his range with crisp combinations whilst negating his opponent’s offensive output with intelligent defensive work, and he looks to continue building on his momentum this week.
However, Suablack knows exactly what a victory over Sangarthit could mean for his career. The striker had been on a tear through the weekly series, scoring six consecutive wins – four of those by knockout.
But he’s since hit a rough patch that has seen him come up short in his last three bouts to esteemed competition in Kiamran Nabati, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai, and Dmitrii Kovtun.
