Michael Page

Michael Page, known as “The Venom,” recently defeated Carlos Condit at Polaris 30 by unanimous decision. He joined the UFC in 2024 and currently holds a record of one win and one loss, both by decision. Before that, he built an impressive career in Bellator MMA, with 17 wins and 2 losses.

His last fight was at UFC 303: Pereira vs. Procházka 2, where he lost a unanimous decision to Ian Machado Garry. Before that, he secured dominant wins over Kevin Holland (unanimous decision) and Goiti Yamauchi (leg kick TKO).

In 2022, he missed out on the Bellator MMA Interim Welterweight Championship, losing a close split decision to Logan Storley. Despite that, he has beaten several top fighters, including: Ricky Rainey (knockout, punches), Nah-shon Burrell (unanimous decision), Rudy Bears (TKO, punches), Evangelista Santos (TKO, flying knee), Fernando Gonzalez (split decision), Paul Daley (unanimous decision) and Douglas Lima (split decision).

Final Prediction

This fight is a tough call. Michael Page is highly experienced, with 22 wins, 3 losses, and 22 years in the sport. Sharabutdin Magomedov is unbeaten and on an incredible run.

Page has more wins and a higher knockout rate than decision victories. That gives him an edge in finishing fights. But Magomedov’s momentum and undefeated record make him dangerous.

This should be a close contest. My concern is Page’s loss to Ian Machado Garry, who had a similar style to Magomedov. That fight went the distance, and I expect this one to as well.

If I had to choose, I’d lean toward Sharabutdin Magomedov.
