This morning, Chris Eubank couldn’t make the Middleweight division weight limit of 160 pounds. He was 0.05 pounds over. This, however, comes with major financial consequences. On his first attempt, he missed by 2 ounces. On the second, he was off by half an ounce. The fine for this is reported to be around $500,000.

There’s also a clause in his contract stating he cannot weigh more than 10 pounds over by tomorrow morning. If he fails, the fine will increase.

Conor Benn is undefeated with 23 wins. His last fight was on February 3, 2024, against Peter Dobson. He won by unanimous decision. The 28-year-old boxer is from Ilford, Essex, England. In his previous fight, he was the co-main event against Rodolfo Orozco. He won after 10 rounds, also by unanimous decision.

In 2018, Conor fought for the vacant MB Championship and won by unanimous decision against Cedrick Peynaud. The next year, he defended his title against Jussi Koivula, knocking him out in the second round. In 2019, he won the WBA Continental Welterweight Title by beating Steve Jamoye by TKO/KO in the fourth round.

He defended the title against Sebastian Formella by unanimous decision. He also defeated Samuel Vargas with a first-round KO/TKO, Adrian Granados by unanimous decision, Chris Algieri by TKO in the fourth round (with a jab to a straight right), and Chris van Heerden with a second-round TKO after landing a straight right and follow-up punches. In 2023, he faced Rodolfo Orozco again and won by unanimous decision.
