During a recent interview, Jones also discussed his current UFC contract. “The door is open… The UFC is contractually obligated to offer me a few fights a year. When I get offered a fight, that’s gonna be great. We’ll see how I feel,” said Jon Jones via The Ring Magazine.
Despite his lengthy inactivity, White still believes Jones remains one of the UFC’s biggest superstars and most recognizable attractions today. With stars like Ilia Topuria and Conor McGregor suffering recent defeats, fans are increasingly eager to see Jon Jones return to competition soon.

Following the disappointing result, Aspinall focused on recovering while Gane rebuilt momentum by defeating Alex Pereira to capture the interim heavyweight title. During a recent interview, Jones also shared his detailed thoughts on a potential rematch, predicting who would ultimately prevail between them.
“I think Ciryl Gane is going to win. When you become a champion and beat a guy like Alex Pereira, it has to do something for your confidence. He has my support. I love the class he carries. I think he’s a great representative for France and for the UFC, and I hope he does really well for a long time,” Jon Jones continued.
Jones previously faced Gane at UFC 285, delivering a dominant first-round submission victory that showcased his elite grappling. On the other hand, with Jones potentially returning to face Tom Aspinall, fans are eagerly anticipating one of the biggest heavyweight matchups.
