“They Want Him as Champion” – Arman Tsarukyan Accuses UFC of Favoring Paddy Pimblett

Arman Tsarukyan accuses UFC of favouritism by pushing Paddy Pimblett

Arman Tsarukyan and Paddy Pimblett are two of the biggest names in the UFC lightweight division right now. Both fighters are aiming for UFC gold and share a nasty beef that remains clearly visible during interviews.

Currently, Pimblett is scheduled to fight Justin Gaethje in an interim title matchup at UFC 324. On the contrary, Tsarukyan has been sidelined by the UFC for a very long period without meaningful fight opportunities.

Following the UFC 324 announcement, many fans and experts criticized the UFC for unfairly ignoring Arman Tsarukyan’s rightful title chances. In a recent interview, the Armenian fighter made a bold statement, accusing the UFC of clear bias toward Pimblett. “They want to make him champion. They know that if they put me in, he’s going to lose and the star is going to be gone.,” said Arman Tsarukyan via MMA Fighting.

Pimblett has established himself as a fan favorite, especially due to his massive popularity across the United Kingdom. The fighter entertains audiences with confident trash talk, creating hype that the UFC openly appreciates from marketable personalities.

Meanwhile, UFC CEO Dana White publicly expressed frustration with Arman Tsarukyan following the controversial UFC 311 situation earlier. Heading into UFC 324, Pimblett stands as the betting favorite to capture the interim lightweight championship belt.

However, according to Tsarukyan, the Scouser would struggle to defeat Ilia Topuria for the undisputed lightweight title. It would be interesting to see whether this rivalry between Arman Tsarukyan and Pimblett will ever be settled inside the Octagon.

Paddy Pimblett gets slammed by Dan Hooker following the recent controversy

Dan Hooker and Paddy Pimblett sparked controversy after the Scouser mocked Hooker’s grappling with a personal joke involving his mother. In response, the Kiwi fired back by referencing Pimblett’s late friend Ricky. The comment deeply upset Pimblett, who accused Hooker of crossing serious personal boundaries during their public exchange.

However, Hooker maintained that Pimblett initiated the disrespect, insisting he merely returned the same energy in response. “A ‘joke’ about my mother being r@ped. I could never tolerate that level of disrespect,” wrote Dan Hooker via X.

Dan Hooker is currently scheduled to face Benoit Saint-Denis on the main card of UFC 325 in Sydney. The Kiwi needs a strong comeback after his loss to Arman Tsarukyan to reenter the lightweight title picture again.
