UFC Fighter Fends Off Thief With A Shotgun
A UFC veteran with over 30 fights, known for his toughness and finishing ability has gone viral on social media. After competing on The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, Marlon Vera developed an aggressive striking style and a dangerous ground game.
This seasoned fighter owns highlight-reel victories over former champions and top contenders, delivering stunning knockouts and decisive stoppages that have cemented his reputation in the division.
A video provided by circulating on social media hows Marlon “Chito” Veraorced to defend himself from an apparent robbery attempt—because apparently, winning fights in the Octagon wasn’t enough for the universe, and it had to throw in a bonus round. In the footage, a suspect approaches Vera wielding a knife.
But if the would-be assailant thought Vera would be an easy target, he was sorely mistaken. Chito calmly reached into his truck, pulled out a shotgun, and instantly turned the tables. The sight of that barrel was all it took—the suspect bolted faster than the Road Runner on Looney Tunes, escaping before things got ugly.
