UFC White House: Dana White Vows “The Baddest Card of All Time”

UFC President Dana White weighs in on controversy surrounding a fighter's comments about Hitler, citing free speech rights

The UFC White House has been the talking point over the last two weeks. Former President Donald Trump announced that the White House will host a live UFC event in 2026 as part of the United States’ 250th birthday celebrations. Scheduled for the summer, the open-air fight card would take place directly on the South Lawn with views of both the White House and Washington Monument — marking the first professional sporting event ever staged on presidential grounds.

Dana White’s dream card includes Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed he’s preparing “the baddest card of all time” for this one-off spectacle. And front and center in his vision is a heavyweight championship bout between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall — a matchup he has openly referred to as his “dream fight” for the occasion. With Jones recently re-entering the USADA drug testing pool, speculation about his return has ramped up, especially with Aspinall holding the interim heavyweight title. “This is the fight fans want,” White noted during media appearances. “If we’re doing this at the White House, we’re going big.”

Conor McGregor also wants in

Conor McGregor has wasted no time expressing his own interest in fighting on the historic card. He reportedly reached out to Dana White in direct messages, and those conversations were leaked online earlier this month. McGregor’s long-teased return from injury has yet to materialize in 2025, but insiders believe the White House event could serve as the ideal stage for his comeback. Whether it’s a long-awaited bout with Michael Chandler or another high-profile name, McGregor’s participation would significantly raise the stakes and the spectacle of the card.

No tickets — invite only

Despite its scale, White emphasized that no public tickets will be sold due to strict Secret Service protocols. The event will be invite-only, with a guest list likely composed of VIPs, dignitaries, and UFC insiders. White stated, “There’s not going to be tickets sold to this thing. You’re gonna be invited by the President or me. That’s how this thing’s going down.”

Event timing and logistics still in development

Set tentatively for July 2026, the UFC White House card is still in early planning stages. Security, infrastructure, and production concerns are actively being coordinated with government agencies. But with Dana White steering the event and former President Trump lending political support, it appears increasingly likely that this never-before-seen collaboration will come to life.
