Undefeated Ubaid Hussain Faces Panpadej In ONE Friday Fights 151 Main Event

Two unbeaten fighters, two origin stories built on adversity, one fight worth watching. That is the main event framing at ONE Friday Fights 151 this Friday, April 24, live in Asia primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Panpadej NF Looksuan puts a five-fight winning streak on the line against British-Pakistani flyweight Ubaid Hussain in a Muay Thai main event with a US$100,000 contract waiting for whoever imposes their will across three rounds.

Panpadej’s road to this point is well-documented inside ONE’s weekly series. The 24-year-old from Chiang Mai was bullied as a child before taking up Muay Thai at 12, relocated to Bangkok at 15, briefly quit during the pandemic, and has since put together a 25-0 comeback that has made him one of the most exciting fighters on the card. His last outing was a main event victory over Apiwat Sor Somnuk.

Hussain is 20 years old, 14-0, and dangerous in every sense. The Leeds-born, Kiatphontip-trained fighter started training at 8 when his mother first brought him to the gym. He went on to win the WBC Under-18 European National Championship and has since added seven knockouts to an unbeaten professional slate. Friday night at Lumpinee Stadium is the biggest opportunity of his career.

The co-main event is equally compelling. Former Channel 7 and Thailand Muay Thai Champion Petmuangsri Torfunfarm squares off with Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Chankrit Manop Gym in a flyweight Muay Thai clash between two of Thailand’s most decorated regional titleholders. Petmuangsri, 22, brings sharp body kicking and crafty clinch work honed at TDed99 in Bangkok. Chankrit, 29, is a relentless southpaw kicker making his ONE debut and looking to announce himself on the world stage.

The rest of the card features flyweight Muay Thai between Lamsing T1 Fight Academy and Uzbekistan’s Fakhriddin Khasanov, two atomweight Muay Thai bouts involving Petmuangthai Sor Naruemon and WBC Muay Thai World Champion Kathi Mor RajabhatKorat, strawweight MMA and lightweight MMA showdowns, and a pair of strawweight kickboxing encounters.
