Zakirov Vs. Satiev And Masunyane Vs. Lee Added To ONE Fight Night 45 On July 17

Two undefeated flyweights and two strawweight MMA contenders have been added to a July 17 Prime Video card that is growing into one of the deepest of the year.

Sanzhar “Tornado” Zakirov meets Ruslan Satiev in flyweight MMA, and Bokang “Little Giant” Masunyane faces Lee “The Flash” Seung Cheol at strawweight, at ONE Fight Night 45: Lessei vs. Rabah on Prime Video, live in U.S. primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Zakirov and Satiev matchup is the rarest kind in combat sports. It features two genuinely unbeaten fighters, neither of whom has shown any sign of vulnerability, on a collision course that only one can survive with a perfect record intact.

Zakirov, 23, carries a 16-0 professional slate and seven consecutive ONE Championship victories into the bout, his Khaturaev Team wrestling and increasingly dangerous knockout power combining to dismantle whoever stands across from him. Wins over Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada, Eko Roni Saputra, and Masunyane himself have defined his climb through the flyweight division, and his most recent unanimous decision over “Wolf Warrior” Hu Yong at ONE Fight Night 36 demonstrated the composure to grind through a dangerous striker without exposing himself.

Satiev is 6-0 with five finishes and brings his own distinct finishing ability both on the feet and the canvas, arriving on the main roster after three additional stoppage wins outside the promotion that signalled clearly he was ready for this level. A win here puts the winner in direct conversation with ONE Flyweight MMA World Champion Avazbek “Ninzya” Kholmirzaev.

Masunyane’s inclusion adds a layer of narrative complexity to a card that already has plenty. The South African is 3-2 in his last five outings, having lost to Zakirov before snapping a difficult run with a wrestling-dominant unanimous decision over Ryohei Kurosawa at ONE Fight Night 39 in January. A second consecutive win, this time over Lee, would re-establish him as a legitimate title threat at strawweight.

Lee, however, is one of the most dangerous finishers in the division at this stage of his career. The 27-year-old South Korean carries a 12-1 record with 10 stoppages, has won four straight since his promotional debut, and collected his six-figure ONE Championship contract with a first-round submission of Cueng Naibaho before following it up with a dominant performance over Fabio “The Giant” Henrique at ONE Fight Night 41 in March. His grappling is a direct test for everything Masunyane does best, and the winner moves straight to the front of the strawweight title queue.
