Rodtang Vs. Nong-O World Title Fight, Plus Three Other Bouts Added To ONE 173

ONE Championship transformed their already stacked November 16 card into legendary status by adding four explosive bouts to ONE 173 at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena, now featuring the vacant ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title collision between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Nong-O Hama.

The super fight pits flyweight history’s most dominant force against the most successful former bantamweight champion in a battle that carries profound implications for both legends’ careers.

Rodtang enters seeking complete redemption after being stripped of his flyweight crown in November 2024 for missing weight. His thunderous 80-second destruction of Takeru Segawa at ONE 172 proved “The Iron Man” has returned to peak physical form, needing just one victory to complete his comeback story.

Nong-O brings different motivation into their collision. The 38-year-old veteran seeks to conquer a second weight class after dominating bantamweight with seven consecutive title defenses that included five knockouts. His recent unanimous decision victory over Kongthoranee Sor Sommai proved he remains elite at flyweight.

Christian Lee’s unfinished business with Alibeg Rasulov headlines the MMA additions. Their December 2024 encounter ended frustratingly via no-contest after an accidental eye poke halted their war in round two, despite Lee controlling the action with bigger shots and relentless pressure.

The two-division king faces undefeated Turkish sensation Rasulov, whose 14-0 record includes a dominant wrestling masterclass over former lightweight king Ok Rae Yoon. The rematch eliminates any doubt about lightweight supremacy.

History awaits in the inaugural ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship battle between 10-time Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka and surging Thai dynamo Numsurin Chor Ketwina. The Japanese legend’s surgical precision meets Numsurin’s relentless pressure in a perfect storm of technical mastery versus raw aggression.

Nadaka’s perfect 3-0 ONE record includes a spectacular 15-second third-round TKO of Hamada Azmani at ONE Friday Fights 122, while Numsurin earned his six-figure contract through a majority decision victory over Songchainoi Kiatsongrit.

Featherweight kickboxing rounds out the additions as icon Marat Grigorian welcomes former K-1 Super Lightweight Champion Rukiya Anpo to ONE Championship. Grigorian’s recent knockout spree meets Anpo’s debut ambitions on Japanese soil.
