Jake Paul vs Gervonta Davis Gets New Venue After Being Rejected

The highly anticipated showdown between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis has hit an unexpected twist. Originally scheduled for November 14, 2025, at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, the fight has now been relocated to the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

The change comes after the Georgia Athletic Commission blocked the bout due to the significant weight difference between the fighters. Jake Paul usually fights around 200 pounds, while Davis competes at 140 pounds. The commission refused to grant the necessary permits, citing safety concerns.

Undeterred, Paul’s promotional company, Most Valuable Promotions, quickly secured the new venue in Miami. Paul expressed his excitement, saying, “New city, same mission – seek and destroy Tank. Kaseya Center. Friday, November 14. I’ll bring the heat and Miami will watch me beat up this angry elf while the world watches live on Netflix.”

Gervonta Davis responded confidently, firing back at Paul’s comments. “Jake Paul has been cherry-picking in boxing for a while, but this time he picked the wrong opponent,” Davis stated. “He better start losing some weight, chasing chickens and praying it helps him on fight night! Thanks to Netflix for giving me the chance to beat up this clown.”

Coming into the fight, Davis has a record of 30 wins and one draw, following a controversial draw with Lamont Roach. Paul stands at 12-1 with six consecutive victories, including a win over Julio César Chávez Jr. Despite the hype, the November clash will be classified as an exhibition bout, but it is set to attract a massive audience both in-person and via streaming worldwide.

This unexpected venue change has only added more fuel to the rivalry, promising an electrifying spectacle when the two fighters finally meet in Miami.
