Tommy Robinson at Misfits Boxing: What’s His Connection With Andrew Tate?

Tommy Robinson’s presence around Misfits Boxing has drawn attention despite him having no official role as a fighter or promoter. His name keeps surfacing largely because of his close association with Andrew Tate, a relationship that stretches back years and continues to follow Tate into the influencer boxing space.

A Longstanding Link Between Robinson and Tate

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, and Andrew Tate are both from Luton, England, and are believed to have known each other long before Tate became a global online figure. That shared background is often pointed to as the basis of their relationship, which later turned into public support once Tate began dominating headlines.

As Tate entered the Misfits Boxing ecosystem, Robinson continued to appear on the fringes of major moments. His most notable recent link came ahead of Tate’s fight against Chase DeMoor. Robinson travelled to Dubai with the intention of supporting Tate during fight week, but reports suggested he was allegedly sent back by local authorities and did not remain in the country for the event. While no official explanation was provided, the incident highlighted how closely Robinson’s movements were tied to Tate’s career milestones.

Robinson has also been one of Tate’s most vocal defenders during periods of controversy, particularly surrounding allegations made against Tate. That support became a story in itself after comments involving Lauren Southern resurfaced.

Southern alleged that Tate raped her during a 2018 trip to Romania and claimed Robinson attempted to discredit her account. According to Southern, Robinson questioned the credibility of her allegation and suggested that accusers were being paid or manipulated. She openly accused Robinson of lying in order to protect Tate and his reputation rather than standing with alleged victims. Robinson has denied wrongdoing, but the claims added further scrutiny to his role in defending Tate publicly.

While Misfits Boxing is primarily about crossover entertainment and influencer matchups, Robinson’s repeated proximity to Tate ensures his name remains linked to the promotion whenever Tate is involved. His appearance around Misfits events is less about boxing and more about loyalty, a loyalty that continues to spark controversy well beyond the ring.
