The UFC White House event will take place in June 2026, and the hype surrounding it has already reached massive levels. For CEO Dana White, the White House event is a dream project, and he has outlined several huge plans.
According to White, this show is expected to be the biggest and most grand UFC event in history. White has teased several aspects of the event so far, which has significantly increased anticipation among fight fans.
Recently, US President Donald Trump also spoke about the event and addressed its planned audience size. Trump mentioned the number of spectators they are aiming to accommodate, further adding to the growing excitement surrounding the event. “UFC is coming as you know in front of the White House. They’re building literally a stadium. We’re going to have over 100,000 people,” said Donald Trump via a press conference.

Dana White stated that only 5,000 people, including VIPs and administration, would attend on the White House lawn due to security reasons. He also explained that around 85,000 additional fans would gather at the nearby Ellipse Park to watch the event live on giant screens.
According to reports, the event is expected to feature seven to eight title fights, delivering a stacked card unlike anything seen before. Beyond celebrating America’s 250th Independence Day, the event will also highlight Dana White’s long-standing personal friendship with Donald Trump.

Is Jon Jones fighting at the UFC White House event?
Following the White House event announcement, several UFC superstars expressed strong interest in competing on such a historic stage. Among them is Jon Jones, who described the opportunity as patriotic and a way to serve his nation’s interests.
He was also called out by light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira for a potential White House clash between them publicly. Both fighters verbally agreed to the matchup, but Dana White has yet to officially green-light it publicly so far.
In a recent interview, Jones admitted he has no idea whether the fight is happening at the White House event. “I don’t know what’s gonna happen… some things are just out of my control,” Jon Jones via The Schmo

Dana White has previously stated concerns about booking the fight, admitting he does not fully trust Jon Jones to show up. ‘Bones’ has shared a turbulent love-hate relationship with the UFC and Dana White, withdrawing from scheduled fights previously. However, considering the immense hype surrounding Jones versus Alex Pereira, an official UFC announcement soon would not be surprising.
