Eddie Hearn Says Tom Aspinall Will Earn More From Commercial Deals Than UFC Fight

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has made a bold claim about the earning potential of Tom Aspinall, suggesting the British heavyweight could soon make more money through commercial partnerships than he did from one of his recent fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Hearn recently spoke about Aspinall’s new partnership with Matchroom’s talent agency. According to the veteran promoter, the team is already closing in on several endorsement deals that could significantly boost the interim heavyweight champion’s income outside the Octagon.

Hearn highlights major commercial opportunities

Speaking about the early progress since Aspinall joined Matchroom’s talent agency, Hearn revealed that negotiations are already underway for multiple sponsorship and brand deals. He suggested that fighters competing in the UFC should pay attention to how athletes can maximize their earnings away from fighting.

Hearn explained that Aspinall has only been with the agency for around a couple of weeks, yet the team is already making progress on several agreements. The British promoter even claimed that the value of these deals could exceed the amount Aspinall earned for one of his recent fights.

The statement once again highlights the long-running debate about fighter pay in the UFC, where many athletes have spoken about the difference between fight purses and the earning opportunities available through endorsements, sponsorships, and media appearances.
