Darren Till has responded to accusations that he may have used performance-enhancing drugs following his eye-catching transformation ahead of his successful BKFC debut.
The former UFC welterweight title challenger looked noticeably bigger and more muscular than many fans remembered when he stepped into the ring against Aaron Chalmers at BKFC 90 in May. Till delivered a dominant performance, stopping Chalmers in the second round to extend his winning streak in boxing-related competition to four fights.
His physical appearance quickly became a topic of discussion online, with some fans questioning whether performance-enhancing drugs played a role in his transformation.

Till Claims PED Use Is ‘Never Been A Thing’ For Him
Addressing the speculation, Till strongly denied ever using performance-enhancing drugs and insisted he would not even know where to begin if he wanted to.
“I’ve never dabbled in [PEDs]. It’s never been a thing, I’d never know how to go about it,” Till said.
The Liverpool fighter then made a surprising claim regarding the prevalence of PED use in combat sports.
“I think these people who use it — which, by the way, is 90% of the UFC roster and everything else — I think there’s a thing behind it with doctors and stuff like that, mate.”
Till admitted he has little knowledge of how athletes allegedly use such substances and suggested the process is more complicated than many people realize.
“I just don’t know. I think there’s too much work to go into stuff like that.”

The comments come after one of the most impressive performances of Till’s post-UFC career. Since leaving the promotion, the 32-year-old has rebuilt momentum through crossover boxing and bare-knuckle competition, with his victory over Chalmers further fueling discussions about potential future matchups.
While fans continue debating the dramatic physique change that sparked the accusations, Till remains adamant that performance-enhancing drugs have never been part of his career.
