Friendship has a shelf life inside the ring. That truth comes into sharp focus on Friday, July 31, when Johan Ghazali meets Ramadan Ondash in a flyweight Muay Thai bout at The Inner Circle 24, streaming exclusively for members on live.onefc.com. The fight takes place at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Two of the most dangerous teenagers in the flyweight division stand on opposite sides of the ring. Ghazali, the Malaysian-American finisher known as “Jojo,” carries a 27-10 career record with 11 stoppages and eight wins inside ONE Championship, six of them finishes. Lebanese striker Ondash, competing under the nickname “The Scorpion,” brings a 13-4 career mark and a 5-1 record since joining the promotion, with two of those victories coming by stoppage.
Both fighters built their reputations the hard way. Ghazali won four straight bouts in ONE Friday Fights to earn a US$100,000 main roster contract, becoming the youngest athlete to claim the deal in the weekly series. He has won two of his last three matchups, though his most recent appearance at ONE SAMURAI 1 in April ended in a loss to Japanese ace Shimon — a result that gives this fight the added weight of a comeback mission.

Ondash followed a nearly identical path. He won four consecutive ONE Friday Fights bouts to secure his own six-figure contract while training out of Tiger Muay Thai, earning the distinction of being the second-youngest athlete to reach that milestone. A setback in his U.S. primetime debut against Aliff Sor Dechapan was put firmly behind him when he defeated Suriyanlek Por Yenying in May, a performance that set the stage for something bigger.
After that win, Ondash grabbed the microphone and made his intentions plain.
“I need ‘Jojo.’ I love him — he’s my friend. But in the ring, there are no friends. Everyone wants me to fight ‘Jojo.’ I respect him. He’s like my brother. Let’s go,” Ondash said.
The call was answered without hesitation.
“I’m always ready. Anyone, anywhere,” Ghazali said.
