Carla Jade Warns Erika Night: ‘She Can Bring Her 250,000 Followers – I’ll Bring My Fists’
Carla Jade has sent a warning to Erika Night ahead of their Misfits Boxing showdown, insisting the teenage social media star’s huge following will count for nothing once the pair step inside the ring.
The 37-year-old former ring girl and model-turned-boxer will return to action on October 10 in Brighton, looking to bounce back from the first professional defeat of her career. She will face 19-year-old Icelandic boxer Erika Night, who has built a following of around 250,000 on social media.
The age gap between the two fighters is significant, with Jade 18 years older than her opponent and a mother of four. In fact, Jade has a son who is older than Night.
Jade believes the fight will provide a very different test for Night compared with the social-media world she is accustomed to.
“I’ve learned that she’s become more known for her intentionally provocative social-media clips and ‘unpopular opinions’ on TikTok than for her boxing or any real skill she’s displayed during her amateur career,” Jade said.
“I’m interested to see how that confidence translates when it’s just the two of us in the ring. I’m not going to get drawn into a social-media war with her. I’m 37, I’ve got four kids and I’m a grown woman. She’s just a kid.”
Jade also believes her experience outside the ring could prove important when the fight gets underway.
“She’s going to find me a very different opponent to what she’s used to. I’ve got a lot more life experience and I’ve been through some very hard fights,” she added.
“People are going to be interested to see what happens when the social-media world disappears, the cameras stop and the bell rings. She can bring her 250,000 followers with her – I’ll bring my fists.”

Jade Looking To Bounce Back
The fight will be Jade’s first since her closely contested defeat to Pearl Gonzalez in March. The pair went five rounds in a 125lb middleweight title bout, with Gonzalez edging a narrow 3-2 decision on the judges’ scorecards.
Despite losing her unbeaten professional record, Jade believes the experience has left her more motivated ahead of her return.
“It was a really close five-round fight that went all the way to the final bell. I was genuinely really pleased with how I boxed,” she said.
“Of course, I was gutted to lose because nobody gets into boxing to lose, but it taught me a lot. It was my first defeat, and I actually came away from it feeling more motivated than ever.”
With her focus now firmly on October 10, Jade is determined to use the Erika Night fight as an opportunity to return to winning ways.
