Darren Till will face Yoel Romero this Saturday in the main event of BKFC 94 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. The fight will air live on DAZN pay-per-view, and the hype is massive.  

Following his departure from UFC, Till has found success in boxing and has lately regained his fan following. Earlier this year in May, Till made his BKFC debut against Aaron Chalmers and won the fight via TKO. 

On the other hand, Romero has been actively participating in different organisations in the last few years, including BKFC, Dirty Boxing, Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 10, etc. Romero is currently in his last stint as a professional fighter, but that doesn’t stop Til from taking him seriously. 

“I don’t care about Yoel’s age. I know what he’s capable of. I know the damage he can take. I’m not going into this fight thinking he’s 49. Yoel Romero at 49,29,69,89 is still Yoel Romero. He’s still a very dangerous guy, and I take this fight with a lot of caution and a lot of respect,” said Darren Till via DAZN. 

Yoel Romero is well known for his brutal power and ability to knock out opponents in the early rounds. In his entire professional MMA career, the Cuban fighter has knocked out 14 opponents, and Till is certainly aware of that. 

Till is undefeated in his last four fights and is confident about his chances to continue that momentum. The British fighter has also talked about how fighting Romero is scary, but as a professional fighter, he is ready for that challenge.

“I don’t want people to be scared of me. That’s not what I want. It’s only me. When I go to the ring, I want to beat that guy. That’s the only [thing] I want is to beat that guy. I train hard and I fight for my family, so I need to do what I need to do. But if you scared of me, that’s your problem. I don’t try to make no one scared,” said Yoel Romero while talking about Till’s comments.
