GLORY Kickboxing has announced a major change to its milestone GLORY 100 event, reducing it from a two-day spectacle to a single-day show due to disappointing ticket sales. The shift has resulted in the cancellation of several bouts, including the anticipated welterweight clash between Tayfun Özcan and Ismail Ouzgni.
Özcan shared the news with fans through a TikTok video, expressing frustration over the last-minute changes. “The Friday event is canceled due to poor ticket sales,” he said. “That means my fight and a few others won’t happen. Some bouts are still on for Saturday, but it’s a shame. I’ll likely be back later this year.”
Interestingly, Friday’s ticket sales were reportedly stronger than Saturday’s, but organizers chose to consolidate the schedule, aiming to maximize attendance and energy on a single night.

GLORY 100 will now take place on June 14, 2025, at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands. The revised lineup still promises high-stakes matchups, including:
- Rico Verhoeven vs. Artem Vakhitov for the Heavyweight title
- Tarik Khbabez vs. Sergej Maslobojev for the Light Heavyweight belt
- Donovan Wisse vs. Michael Boapeah for the Middleweight crown
- Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9 vs. Miguel Trindade in a Featherweight title fight
The adjustment follows criticism of the recent GLORY Underground event in Miami, which fell short of expectations in terms of production and overall reception.
By refocusing GLORY 100 into a single-day event, the promotion aims to deliver a more impactful experience for fans and a more streamlined showcase of elite kickboxing talent. The hope is that this reset will reenergize interest and set the stage for a stronger second half of the year.
