Two elite strikers are set to clash in the main event of ONE Fight Night 30 on Prime Video, as two-sport, two-division ONE World Champion Roman Kryklia defends his ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title against British powerhouse Lyndon Knowles.
When is ONE Fight Night 30?
This thrilling matchup will take place in U.S. primetime on Friday, April 4, live from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ukrainian sensation Kryklia has been dominant throughout his six-fight tenure in the world’s largest martial arts promotion. Since capturing the ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title in his 2019 debut, the towering striker has successfully defended it twice before winning the ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix silver belt.
Kryklia later transitioned from kickboxing’s larger gloves to ONE Muay Thai’s 4-ounce gloves, securing a devastating second-round knockout against Australian powerhouse Alex Roberts to claim the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title. Now a two-sport champion with highlight-reel finishes in all but one of his ONE bouts, the 33-year-old aims to further cement his legacy as a pound-for-pound great at ONE Fight Night 30.
However, Knowles possesses the skill, power, and experience to put an end to Kryklia’s dominant reign in his highly anticipated promotional debut. As the reigning WBC Heavyweight Muay Thai World Champion, the 38-year-old has long been recognized as one of the United Kingdom’s top Muay Thai fighters. With nearly 100 professional fights under his belt, his veteran experience could pose a serious challenge for Kryklia.
Although this will be Knowles’ first fight on the ONE stage, he is no stranger to the organization. A highly respected coach and strategist, he is often seen in the corner of current ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Champion and global star Jonathan Haggerty.
Given his challenger’s impressive credentials, Kryklia is preparing for one of the toughest tests of his career.
